As the world adopts greener practices, corporations are facing an avalanche of litigation over misleading environmental claims. Ensuring that your company is not damaging the trust of stakeholders, such as customers, suppliers and partners, is vital to maintaining credibility. However, many companies can fall for false sustainability claims, even when they have good intentions. As is the case with the unilever campaign criticized for greenwashing , according to edie .
